About Waves And Wines

The moment the gentle hum of conversation blends with the distant crashing of waves, the atmosphere sets a relaxed yet refined tone. The balance between natural light and cozy interior decor creates an inviting space that suits casual gatherings and more intimate dinners alike. It’s the kind of ambiance where a glance at Waves And Wines + photos online might only reveal a fraction of its charm, which truly comes alive in person. Attentive staff contribute to the experience without overwhelming, though occasional lapses in timing hint at a busy service rhythm during peak hours.

Seafood takes a prominent place on the menu, showcasing fresh catches complemented by subtle Mediterranean flavors. The grilled octopus presents a tender texture accented by smoky char, while a hearty seafood pasta incorporates ingredients that feel thoughtfully paired rather than simply abundant. For those exploring Waves And Wines + reviews, feedback often highlights the quality of these dishes, though some diners note inconsistency in portion sizes. The wine list thoughtfully complements the flavors, featuring local varieties that underscore the maritime influence in the cuisine without overshadowing it.

Exploring the Waves And Wines + restaurant on various platforms reveals a blend of culinary adventure and traditional touches. Its location near Ag. Pelagia provides scenic views that enhance dining, yet the establishment’s appeal rests equally in its carefully cultivated offerings and the subtle complexities of its kitchen. While reservation wait times can be longer during high season, the overall experience reflects a destination where food, service, and setting engage in a quiet dialogue. As a result, it stands as a noteworthy option among coastal dining venues, capturing both local essence and visitor interest with varying degrees of consistency.

I recently visited Waves and Wines and I was really impressed! The food was amazing, with each dish showcasing incredible flavors and freshness. I had the risotto with goat cheese and beetroot, which was full of flavor. The entire dining experience was made even better by the staff—extremely kind and very helpful. They made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout the meal.

Nice vibes and chill atmosphere with a sea view. Few but tasty brunch options, decent to oversized portions and friendly, professional staff make Waves & Wines a great place to relax. Highly recommended.

Fantastic restaurant - quite surprising in the area, really. It certainly has a nice direction and the food is prepared with finesse. We had nice pair of cocktails, followed by stuffed chicken leg with fried rice, and risotto. Both meals were very well prepared, tasty, and presentation was really good. We were pleasantly surprised by the high class dining experience. Service was good, but we waited about 40 min for our dishes, but the wait was worthed. It would have however be nice to be told the meals will arrive in longer time, so we got small starters. Atmosphere was nice with chill music. We really enjoyed the place. It would however be interesting to see their take on traditional Greek cuisine in modern dress. Like a one or two dishes, so the menu is little wider. Price is decent for the dishes, little higher for a cocktail, but in line with other restaurants in the area. Overall, definitely a great alternative if you are tired of traditional Greek food - modern dishes, good cocktail, great atmosphere.

Fantastic sea bass with artichokes avgolemono and noodles, one of the best dishes I've tasted! However, the calamari was hard to chew and not particularly tasty. The tomato salad was very good. Also the mushroom risotto was full of taste, mouth watering. The prices are on the high end. Excellent and fast service. Overall, despite one plate being off, would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic food and atmosphere! Welcome change from the normal Greek taverna dishes which we love but great to have variety. Enjoyed the music too. Daphne served us with wonderful selection of top quality chef’s food and wine choices. Amazing salads (mango salad and apple salad), great mains with delicious mushroom risotto, shrimp pasta and chicken with roasted pumpkin puree! As well as delicious desserts. So glad we made it there on their last night of the season. We’ll be back next time.

A true experience through and through! If you want to find phenomenal food paired with wine, warm atmosphere and professionalism you should visit Waves and Wines. The service was exceptional, everyone was extremely polite, professionals to a T and always with a smile on their faces. They took care of everything and made us feel more than welcome. The place itself projects elegance and warmth and the music is perfect for relaxing and enjoy your conversation. When it comes to food, the team provides a vast variety that took everyone by surprise. They truly offer cullinary art. Each plate was a burst of flavor from the twist-of-spanakopita salad and the carpaccio (it even incorporates elements of molecular, cuisine) to the carbonara (the original one) and the Osso Bucco orzo (balanced, creamy and heavenly). The biggest surprise was their new addition to the menu…the Japanese wagyu made to perfection from the cooking and the tenderness of the wagyu till the dressing, the mashed yardlong beans and the mushrooms! Congratulations to the chef and the whole team! Thank you for everything!
